country in the world with Hinduism as the official religion but after democracy Nepal is a secular state under the Interim
Constitution which was promulgated on January 15, 2007. Still 85% of total population of Nepal follows Hinduism.

name was Chandra
Bahadur Dangi. He was the shortest human
ever verified by Guinness World Records. He
was just 54.6 cm tall. He was born on 30th November 1939 in Salyan district of Nepal. He died on 3rd
September 2015 at the age of 75. His exact cause of death was not disclosed,
although The Kathmandu Post reported that he had
previously been suffering from pneumonia.

once a Lake.
According to Hindu mythology as well as
geological studies, it is confirmed that the capital of Nepal ‘Kathmandu’ was
once a lake. Nepalese mythology holds that Manjushree, who came from China to worship lord swayambhu in Kathmandu, saw the huge lake there and drained out the water of Kathmandu valley in order to allow civilization develop in the fertile valley. Then a beautiful valley with black and fertile soil appeared. Apart from mythology, there is ample geological evidence to demonstrate the Kathmandu valley was once a lake. Gautam Buddha, the founder of Buddhism and preacher of peace

“Siddhartha Gautam” before being recognized as the enlightened being. Lord
Buddha is symbolized for Peace and he is also said as “Light of Asia”. Most of
